Misnomer's Online Audience Initiative
Misnomer has embarked on several online initiatives leading to:
. Hundreds of emails monthly from new audience members and fans through myspace, facebook, friendster, Linked in, youtube, and other channels.
. A Presenter Partnership program whereby Misnomer works with presenters to build vibrant audiences in the cities where we tour, with hundreds of people signed on in major cities.
. New made-for-video versions of our works, in addition to behind-the-scenes clips, a growing blog, contests, and creative ways
to interact with the company.
. New online revenue prospects: using Misnomer as a case-study, we are building a new model for the performing arts, and will work alongside other companies and advocacy groups to help bring the performing arts forward and connect to new and vibrant communities.
